What are the cold start procedures for this instrument? Cold start procedures can be found here. Top of page How do I set the unit for manual rather than automatic start mode for the lamp? (This answer pertains to any 6000 series unit with D2 lamp.) To enter manual mode of the D2 power supply, do the following: 1) Turn power to the analyzer off. 2) Turn the unit on and hold the SW 2 switch on the small D2 power supply board. The LED display should read 0. 3) Push SW 2 one time - LED display on the same board should read 1. 4) Push again so it shows 2. 5) Push and release; wait for 2 to 3 seconds after every push until the display shows 6. The lamp should have started operating. Leave the unit working in this state for continual manual operation of the lamp. Top of page Where can I find the 4-20 mA output modules on the computer motherboard? The 4-20ma modules are supplied on of two ways: ![]() as a component from Analog Device, Part Number 1b-22 AN (device with the white label) or ![]() as a separate circuit board mounted on the top.
